IFIB goes to Florence. The new edition of the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy will be held on September 28-29 in the stunning city, capital of Tuscany. Stay tuned!
IFIB, the leading bioeconomy event. Bari, 29-30 September
IFIB is the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy, organized by Italian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster SPRING, Innovhub-SSI and Federchimica-Assobiotec. The edition 2022 is organized in partnership with Regione Puglia, Puglia Sviluppo and Italian Trade Agency.
IFIB brings together the main world bioeconomy stakeholders, who gather to discuss and present the latest updates in the new economy based on renewable, biological resources.
There is a conference with different sessions focused on Biobased Industries, Energy, Agro-food and Biomaterials and round tables that this year are focused on investments, bioregions, bioplastics and SAF.
There is also a partnering event, which is an unique opportunity to meet all the stakeholders of IFIB.
The edition in Bari is the 12th edition of IFIB, after Milano (2011 and 2012), Naples (2013 and 2019), Rome (2017 and 2020), Genoa (2014), Lodi (2015), Vicenza (2016) and Trento (2021).

Participants will come from Europe and beyond to find potential partners for collaborations, business development, licensing agreements, joint ventures, research projects, exchange of experiences and partnership opportunities.
