INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON INDUSTRIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY AND BIOECONOMY (IFIB) 2023
From biotechnology new resources for industry
- AIMS AND SCOPE
The Italian Cluster of Circular Bioeconomy (SPRING), Assobiotec, the Italian Association for the development of biotechnology, which is part of Federchimica, and Innovhub-SSI invite companies and research centers to the 13th edition of the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) which will be held on September 28-29 in Florence (Italy) at the Innovation Center in Lungarno Soderini 21. The forum is aimed at strengthening the bioeconomy network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote industry-industry and industry-university partnerships.
IFIB 2023 will be held at the Innovation Center in Florence (Italy).
Participation in the forum is free of charge. Registration is mandatory through the website: https://ifibwebsite.com/. The official language of the workshop will be English; no simultaneous translation will be provided.
- WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Companies, universities, public and private research centers from the field of industrial biotech and bioeconomy.
- CALL FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS
- ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR POSTER SESSION
Abstracts must be submitted in English using exclusively the form that can be downloaded from the websites https://ifibwebsite.com/.
The abstract must be e-mailed (.doc, .docx, .rtf) by August 31 2023 to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The file must be named as follows: last name of the presenting author_affiliation (e.g. Last name_CompanyXYZ). E-mail subject must be labeled with IFIB 2023.
Abstracts not prepared according to the instructions reported above or sent after the deadline will not be considered. Abstracts must contain the name of the presenting author, complete affiliation, telephone number and e-mail. For further information, please contact email@example.com.
- ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE
Abstracts will be selected by the Scientific Committee and authors will be informed on acceptance for poster presentation via e-mail by 7th September 2023.
- VIRTUAL POSTER SESSION
The posters of abstract accepted must be e-mailed (in PDF format, 700mm x 1000 mm) by 21th September 2023 to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The file must be named as follows: last name of the presenting author_affiliation. E-mail subject must be labeled with IFIB 2023 – POSTER.
Every poster will be showed in Florence at IFIB 2023.
The best poster will be selected by the Scientific Committee and author will be reward in Florence on September 29 2023 with the Paola Mariani Award.
