From biotechnology new resources for industry

  1. AIMS AND SCOPE

The Italian Cluster of Circular Bioeconomy (SPRING) and Innovhub-SSI invite companies and research centers to the 14th edition of the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) which will be held on  October 3-4 in Bologna (Italy) at Fondazione Golinelli. The forum is aimed at strengthening the bioeconomy network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote industry-industry and industry-university partnerships.

  1. VENUE

IFIB 2024 will be held at Fondazione Golinelli in Bologna (Italy).

  1. REGISTRATION

Participation in the forum is free of charge. Registration is mandatory through the website: https://ifibwebsite.com/. The official language of the workshop will be English; no simultaneous translation will be provided.

  1. WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Companies, universities, public and private research centers from the field of industrial biotech and bioeconomy.

  1. CALL FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

  1. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR POSTER SESSION

Abstracts must be submitted in English using exclusively the form that can be downloaded from the websites https://ifibwebsite.com/.

The abstract must be e-mailed (.doc, .docx, .rtf) by August 31 2024 to: info@clusterspring.it. The file must be named as follows: last name of the presenting author_affiliation (e.g. Last name_CompanyXYZ). E-mail subject must be labeled with IFIB 2024.

Abstracts not prepared according to the instructions reported above or sent after the deadline will not be considered. Abstracts must contain the name of the presenting author, complete affiliation, telephone number and e-mail. For further information, please contact info@clusterspring.it.

  1. ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE

Abstracts will be selected by the Scientific Committee and authors will be informed on acceptance for poster presentation via e-mail by 14th September 2024.

  1. VIRTUAL POSTER SESSION

The posters of abstract accepted must be e-mailed (in PDF format, 700mm x 1000 mm) by 28th September 2024 to: info@clusterspring.it. The file must be named as follows: last name of the presenting author_affiliation. E-mail subject must be labeled with IFIB 202e – POSTER.

Every poster will be showed in Bologna at IFIB 2024.

The best poster will be selected by the Scientific Committee and author will be reward in Bologna on October 3 with the Paola Mariani Award.
